In 2369 David started his first year at Starfleet academy he was nearly kicked out because of a number of fights he had been involved in both on and off campuses. But during loser investigation it was realized that he was trying to protect someone who was being pick on by someone bigger. He was put on probation and was allowed to stay in the academy but only if he did not get into any more trouble. After graduating from the academy David was assigned to the Obrith class U.S.S. Monitor from2372 to 2373 at the end of 2373 he was promoted to Ensign and assigned to the Ambassador class U.S.S. Manchester. In 2374 David was promoted to Lieutenant (j.g.) and became the assistant Chief security/tactical officer of the U.S.S. Manchester.

In early 2375 the Chief security/tactical officer was killed during a Dominion attack, in which he was forced to take command when the Captain was killed and the 1st officer was incapacitated, after the battle was won and the ship returned to a Starbase he was promoted to full Lieutenant and assigned as the new Chief security/tactical officer. David served in this position until the ship was destroyed. Three days before the final battle of the Dominion War the Manchester was attacked and destroyed by the Dominion. Only 3escape pods were able to launch, each carrying 30 crew members, one was destroyed, one was captured, and one got away. From late 2375 to early2379, David was held captive in a Dominion prison camp.

When the war ended the Dominion did not return the 30 crewmembers they captured, instead they took them with them when they returned through the wormhole. It took 4 years but David and the last remaining 4 Manchester crewmembers were able to escape and make it back threw the wormhole. After 6 months of debriefings and rehabilitation, they were all returned to active service.

David was assigned to the U.S.S. Horatio Nelson, where he served until her destruction in 2381 by David ramming her into an enemy ship. Because of this David had to go before a hearing, but was cleared of any wrongdoing. But do to an incident, which took place after returning to Starbase; David was reduced in rank to Lieutenant. He has since been assigned to the U.S.S. Horatio Nelson-A, where he was again promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

In late 2381 David was promoted to the rank of Captain and give command of the U.S.S. Stalingrad NCC – 21346, shortly after the Stalingrad returned from its third mission David visited his family on the planet of Juntol. On his return trip David and his shuttle disappeared, in the small section of space between both the planet and starbase’s sensor rang. Nearly 3 years later David’s shuttle reappeared, in the exact spot in which it had vanished. David had no memory of the last 3 years, from his prospective he had just left Juntol’s surface.

After a brife investigation by Starfleet Intelligance, after which he was reinstated to the rank of Captain, David took some time to spend with his family on Juntol. About a week after his return David was called back to Starbase 25, where he was given command of the U.S.S. Alliance.

Personal History and Origin:

David was born to John and Delenn Sheridan at Utopia City General Hospital on Mars on May 22nd, 2352. David grew up on his families’ farm, along with his three siblings. For as long as he can remember David has been fascinated with space exploration, which lead him to pursue a career in Starfleet. He also collected and built model starships of various races, which hang from the ceiling of his of room on Mars, and he learned as much about space exploration from as many different races as he could. Just as strong as his love of space is his hatred for people who take advantage of the weak. It was for this reason he has gotten in a lot of fights in his life.

Monitor from 2372 to 2373 for his cadet-tanning cruse, at the end of 2373 he was promoted to Ensign and assigned to the Ambassador class U.S.S. Manchester as a Security Officer. In 2374 David was promoted to Lieutenant (j.g.) and became the assistant Chief security/tactical officer of the U.S.S. Manchester.
