This may all seem very strict but I have my kittens’ welfare to consider...........

A Kitten Is A Commitment

I do not sell my kittens to just anybody simply because they have decided they want one and have the money available. Anyone lucky enough to be chosen to have a Sachabreen kitten will be rigorously checked out.  I conduct detailed interviews and endeavour to place kittens in homes that I feel are the best match for both my kitten AND the new family. My babies are very precious to me and I will only place them where I feel they will have the best and happiest life.
Sachabreen kittens do not leave here until they are at least 13 weeks old, have been fully inoculated for Flu and Enteritis and are wormed and litter trained. They also leave with 6 weeks insurance as well as a kitten pack, pedigrees, vet papers etc.
All of my babies are extremely affectionate and have been bred for excellent temperaments, but careful breeding alone is not enough. Kittens with really good temperaments acquire them from being regularly handled from birth. All Sachabreen kittens are well used to being gently kissed, cuddled and stroked and will expect this from their new families.

All of my kittens will be sold with a contract before they leave Sachabreen. A contract is for the kitten's welfare and protection and no kitten will go to their new home without one. Breeder and show quality kittens are sometimes available and have their own tailored contracts.
I choose to breed Persians because out of all the many beautiful feline breeds I love them the best. In each litter I am looking for potential show prospects, but understandably not all kittens necessarily meet the strict showing criteria or may not be suitable for my breeding programme.  This means that I sometimes have pet kittens available for loving laps in devoted, permanent homes.    

   

I am a caring and ethical breeder and assume responsibility for every kitten that I help bring into the world.   I do NOT sell to PET SHOPS or KITTY MILLS or any other type of re-sale facility.   I strongly suggest that you do not search for a kitten from these kinds of places either. Often these poor babies are not in the best of health and may cause you heartache in the end.  Also it just encourages more of the same. I keep my kittens for as long as it takes to find them loving homes and reserve the right to refuse to allow any of my kittens or cats into a home environment that I decide does not match up to strict Sachabreen standards.  
Kittens sold as family pets come with a spay/neuter agreement, and all are sold with an indoor only clause.(Large outside catteries for safe playtime are accepted). All Sachabreen pet kittens are registered with the GCCF on the non-active register. Please tell me whether you are looking for a pet or if you are looking for a breeding or show quality kitten. Also tell me a little about yourself, your breeding or show experience, where you live and show, what organization(s) you show in or plan to show in, etc.

You will be purchasing a pedigree pet kitten from a caring & reputable GCCF registered breeder with a required spay/neuter agreement that must be accomplished between 8 & 10 months of age.  Please do not have your cat neutered earlier than 8 months as I believe they need to grow physically, emotionally and mentally before altering.  You would not take your 2 year old child to the local hospital for a hysterectomy or vasectomy and this is no different. Once neutered/spayed, males are larger and heavier than females but apart from this there is very little difference.

Remember that it isn’t just entire males that can spray, entire females will sometimes spray too, particularly at door entrances/exits. This may well occur in an effort to attract a male, so it's crucial that as a responsible pet owner you follow our advice and SPAY OR NEUTER between 8 & 10 months.  It will make living with your new cat a whole lot easier.

A deposit must be paid on a kitten before it is considered reserved for you. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. I realise that people’s circumstances can change and it is not always possible to take possession of a cat or kitten as was originally planned. However, deposits are considered as a serious commitment to a kitten and payment for boarding, grooming and lost opportunities for placement if a buyer changes their mind. It is a good reminder as to why exceptional thought, care and planning should have taken place prior to deciding to take on the responsibility of a new pet. All kittens will go to their new homes with detailed Sachabreen feeding and care sheets, toys, pedigree & veterinary papers and a Royal Canin kitten pack.

Remember that I am always available for help and advice.  I may be strict about where my kittens and cats go, but once you have a Sachabreen Persian in your home you will have a knowledgeable breeder and friend on the other end of the phone or email for the rest of their lives.
