In order to continue her life, a little 9-year old Ukrainian girl Olga Netyukhailo desperately and urgently needs your help.
Olga was diagnosed Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (blood cancer) and currently needs 100 000 Euros for bone marrow transplantation from unrelated donor.
This type of surgery cannot be made in Ukraine, therefore, Olga's parents brought a girl to Israel. Olga is hospitalized in "Hadassah" hospital (Jerusalem) and is staying there since December 2008. During these 3 month girl has been prepared for surgery - getting chemotherapy and waited for remission. But in addition to cancer, it was discovered that Olga's lungs are infected with fungus, which makes the treatment more complicated.
Olga's state of health is critical now and doctors insist stating the surgery as soon as possible.
The donor has been found, the only problem now is money and time which is short.
All finance that little girl's family managed to collect in Ukraine (90 000$) has already been spent for 3 month treatment. Olga's mother Svetlana is staying in the hospital with her daughter, (not working), the father (currently in Ukraine) is trying to take his last chance to collect money to save his little princess.
Ukraine is one of the countries that has been hit by economical crisis the most and in times when ordinary people are left without jobs and business are closing one by one, there is not much that can be collected. That's why both parents and volunteers are asking for to help. Every dollar, shakel or cent will be appreciated and will add up chances for Olga to survive and smile again. With modern medicine she has chances for full recovery! However, so far we are facing the brutal fact - there is a price tag to this little human life - 100 000 Euro.
